Overview

Coins and bars (usually 24K, 999 or 995) are the purest form of physical gold, available from jewellers, bullion dealers, MMTC-PAMP, banks and India Post. Making charges are lower than jewellery, but bank-sold coins carry a premium and banks do not buy them back.
